Before somebody jumps on the definition of "rescued" let me try to lessen the impact.
First & foremost, you must get it to a vet, and soon. I've yet to find a vet that wouldn't work with someone on paying the bill for emergencies.
Look around the eyes and on the belly for mites. They look like miniature spiders, about the size of a pin head. If any are found, which, from the sound of things, I'd be surprised if not, soak the snake in a tub of water and run your hands down it to knock off as many mites as you can.
Get the temperature between 85 - 90 and humidity between 70% - 80%. Give it a water bowl big enough to soak in and place it under the heat lamp.
Get it to the vet, soon.
Keep us posted.
Mike ----- It is said that 1 out of every 4 people are mentally unbalanced. Think of your 3 closest friends, if they're normal, then it's you.
