The Sri Lanka specimens are now also classified as P. molurus molurus, and that is probably why they marked it as such. You are correct however in that bivittatus shows the full arrow marking on the head, Indian sub-continent specimens show about three-fourths as adults, and molurus from Sri Lanka can sometimes show up to half the arrow, but typically much less than that. Sounds like a Sri Lanka specimen as you stated. Please post a photo if you can. Thanks, | ||
