Probably too large of a meal... I have a female that is over 1200 grams and I still feed her weanlings/small rats... feed her a large meal and she'll shut down feeding. If you feed smaller meals more often they tend to be more consistent. Even with small meals it isn't odd for me to put 130g/month on an animal.

It could also be lighting... I had to artificial light my female this year to keep her going.
