Howdy all!

Been a LOONG time since I posted but here goes. I just shot new pics this morning of my high pink pastel BCI Miss Taffy.
What kills me is taking pictures of her...it's just like trying to take quality pictures of a lavender albino retic. It seems that her skin seems to bounce back over her color when the flash hits making her look really washed out color-wise.

I just love her clean pink belly, and how she changes color like a hogg isle boa does - (she ranges from a soft pastel pink to a deep rose pink!)
She's a sweetheart of a boa and one of our favorite kiddos. I want to breed her but unless she grows....which is the main question. Anyone have any thoughts as to why this girl is still so small (last measured her at barely over 2'). I'll measure her again but here's the reason I ask. She was born in early January 2003! She feeds weekly and never misses a meal, no health issues ever and is quite the shedding machine.

I am beginning to wonder if there wasn't a normal columbian crossed with an insular species somewhere in her parenting (impossible for me to know as the guy I bought her from didn't know the parents of the snakes either). Maybe she's just ultra slow at growing but feeding her is certainly not the issue. hehe

Would just love to get some feedback on this.

Hugs!

Amanda
