I tried feeding it a frog but it didn't take it. Then against my own advice (to avoid too much stress, it's real small) I "tease fed" it a newborn pinkie. First it bit it then spit it out. Then it bit it and swallowed it. Now I'll just have to see if he keeps it down. I tried popping it but didn't want to push too hard. Nothing came out so maybe it's a female. It will have to be probed to see for sure.
