well there are several lines of pieds and albinos..
pieds have been know for a long time.. one of the first came in and was owned by brian sharp i think. Then the thinking was that it was a leucistic or partial leucistic.

the first person to produce pieds was my good friend peter kahl. But Ernie wagner also had a pied male early on and has since produced hets and pieds. Pete had seeral wild caught pieds from which he produced babies from, so even his line originalted from several unrelated animals.

there has ben pieds coming into the country every year as hatched or wild caught animals from babies to adults from africa. Now there is at least one breeder in africa producing and exporting pieds to the states.

albinos, same story. clark produced the first ones, but there has since been up to sometimes 5 albinos per year come in from africa. So there are many lines. Of course the lavender albinos, they look similar to normals but the compatibilty isnt really know at this point. They were first brought in as normal albinos.

Pieds and albinos arent sold by lines like pastels and other morphs are. You probably wont know which line you are buying unless you go direct to the original breeders.
