I've got a new Kenyan, and all has been well except recently it seems like he's getting some oddly discolored spots. I can't seem to find any mites on him, but he definitely has a few patches of scales that are rough and raised and/or discolored. It doesn't look like he typically looks when he's going to shed. Anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

I also had a question about how often a kenyan hypothetically should be shedding.

Your input is greatly appreciated, thanks!!
