This is a problem that runs rampid in both herping and in my professional field. People who work in a certain industry tend to not want you to know that there is something they are unfamiliar with so they "make up" and answer as opposed to simply saying "I don't know" but "I can find out if you need me to". Whoever was in that pet shop had not the foggiest idea as to strains of albinism in boas. Unfortunately they were either too embarrassed or whatever to tell you that. (It would be even worse if they THOUGHT that they actuall knew what they were talking about). You do have a Kahl. Looks like a nice one as well...
