In the long run, it will be better for your and for your Het female to wait until next year.
I say it will be better for you, because I agree with the first response, that it is much better to produce visible Ghosts and known Hets than it is to mess around with "possible" Hets.
Additionally, it will be much better for your Het female to wait until she is at least 1500g... that "magic number" is a good guideline for a HEALTHY breeding weight for your female. If you breed her now, her growth may be permanently stunted - and she may not ever be as productive as you would like. In stunting growth, her reproductive capacity will be compromised (she won't ever be able to produce very many eggs at one time). Also, I have heard of females that were bred small like this (in their 2nd year) that for every following breeding season it was questionable if they would produce at all - at best, you can expect her to take every other year off. What I am relating is what a Vet friend of mine told me when I was thinking about breeding my '03 female last year.
In turn then, it is again better for you to wait until next year to breed your Het female, because ideally, she will be more physically capable of "bouncing back" after the strain of producing viable eggs, her growth will not be stunted, and you can look forward to many more productive years using her in your program.
