....putting the animal in a deli cup (or similar container) with a layer of aspen deep enough for the snake to completely burrow under. Once the snake is burried, put in four or five live pinky mice on top of the aspen and leave overnight. This has worked for me on several occasions and you may even be surprised at how many pinks are gone the next day. Good luck.
