Size is not the issue in most species when concerning cohabitation, its that chameleons are primarily very solitary creatures. The stress of cohabitation is only trouble Especially(!) for new keepers who do not understand the complex signals that chameleons show their keepers when they live alone, let alone the signals they give when the opposite or another is present....



If you want chameleons that live together look into keeping R.brevicadatus, the best starter pygmy chameleon. though for them you would not be using a reptarium.
