Yeah, I've never had any problems with printed newspaper, either. It's all I use in all my snake cages and I swear by it for ease of cleaning and providing a healthy environment.



Like you said, newspaper's more absorbent, so I thought un-printed might be the best solution by being more absorbent, with no stain factor. It would also look a bit better in display-type cages (no obituaries, classifieds, etc... :O ). That last sentence would be the only reason I would look into it.
