At the pet store I broke out in a sweat watching her hold a ball python. A week later we got one. I couldnt even look at it. Then my husband notice a problem with its back, two days after having it we took it to the vet and found out that its back was broke, the lump on its back was the spine sticking up. When I saw the xray I felt so bad for it, The vet said it was 50 50 on what would happen. He wasnt sure if it would be able to deficate, My husband wanted to take it back to were we got him,I was so impressed that the snake never hissed or bite or struck while everyone messed with his back , that I had to keep him.He is the most gentle snake. I fully trust with my daughter who is now almost 5. He has some issues with the back but does pretty well considering. Now I (not my Husband) LOL have 10. And my father in law will not come here because of the snakes.. No great lose. [ Hide Replies ]
