Wonder if this is genetic???

Not sure what if anything this one is? Any thoughts? He is brighter looking in person than this and was imported a year or more ago , he is doing well, just not sure what to think of him.. He DOES NOT have a clear belly , it is pretty much a normal looking belly , slightly reduced in the number of belly marks in the center but not patternless by any means..
