I personally like long fiber spaghnum moss. I put it in the nest boxes and then I just transfer it for the incubator. Not dusty ground stuff but rather the fluffy stuff. I tried the vermic and perlite and didn't like the way it stuck to everything. I also found it easier to regulate water and dampness with the moss.
