The only way I noticed my albino was about to shed is that his skin felt kind of baggy when I handled him a couple of days before he shed. I was kind of concerned that his skin was baggy, but then he shed 2 days later. Other than that it's very difficult to see. I have a snow corn too, and I can only tell if her eyes are hazy.
