I have four pairs breeding this year. They (males and females)have been together for about 2 months. Recently, 2 of the females shed and another one is getting ready to. I have no idea if this is the POS, because I haven't seen that "football" swell in any of them. I imagine it is possible thatI missed the swelling, but I check on them at least a couple of times a day. I figured if they ovulated I would have seen some indication. In these 2 months I have given them only one meal (small), so I can't imagine that it is growth due to food intake. Also, the males don't seem to be very active. They "cuddle" with the girls and follow them around, but they sometimes stay apart. Have they done their part already?

If these were POS, and I missed the swell...how can I tell if they are gravid?
I realize that 2 months is not very long and that a lot of patience is required, but I'm getting a bit concerned.

Any insight/advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thak YOU !! Scott
