I'm thinking of getting a BCI or BCC real soon and one option I've had is a local place that has a male suriname for sale. It seems to be mostly healthy except that it seems small for it's age. They say it's 2.5 years old but it's only about two and half feet long and looks a little skinny. Shouldn't a suriname be bigger than that by now? They say it eats fine, but they only feed it once a month. If I were to buy it and start feeding every 7-10 days will it's growth pick up or will it be stunted? I'd really like it to get to the six foot range.
Thanks in advance.
