I think most people will tell you they feed every two weeks. My 1.5 yr old BCI is about four foot now and takes xl rats without a problem. My biggest snake (a little over 8 ft.) will take 2-3 xl rats (depending on how many I want to give her)every two weeks, I don't like rabbits because a. they're expensive and b. sometimes gives them the runs. Just remember, although they will grow faster, It's not healthy to power feed them.

Talk to you later,
Tony
