Posted by: WilliamBlake at Wed Dec 13 22:51:08 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by WilliamBlake ] i have a male dbl. het burm about 11ft long and 27 lbs. i bought him about 9 months ago, when he was 8ft. apparently his last owner fed him primarily rats because for the life of me i cant get him to eat anything else. he can scarf down 3 or 4 giant rats in one sitting and not even show a dent. it seems to me that he would get more out of a sm-md rabbit every 10-14 days than multiple small servings. i have tried soaking the rabbit with rats and rubbing rat hair into it to cover scent. i have also tried chicken broth(a pet store owner threw me that one) nothing seems to work. if i shouldnt worry then i wont. its just more efficient to store a couple of rabbits in a freezer than dozens of rats. | ||
