Posted by: Horridus at Fri Dec 15 12:42:21 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Horridus ] There's plenty of people working with pure thayeri, ruthveni, alterna, etc. there's no danger of these people's collections being "tainted" unless they allow it by purchasing something of unknown origin. What people choose to do with their animals is their business. Funny how these purists are always striving to produce animals that look less and less like what you would see in the wild. I wonder if a pure "ghost" alterna is really a superior animal to a multi mexicana cross that looks exactly the same (actually better) but feeds better, and gets larger. But in thier minds you can only use the "accepted" formula to produce beautiful captive snakes that aren't ever going to be anything but pets/breeders anyway. There's room for everyone in this hobby and certainly room for you here in this forum...welcome. [ Hide Replies ]
