My dad use to say two things, "I'd rather have what you owe then what you own". What ever dad. And "the value of something is what ever the market will bare". Hum, if you can get 25,000 then it's worth 25,000, if you can only get 500.00 then i guess it's only worth 500.00, if you can really place a value on something like keeping herps. I do what i do because it is what I love to do. What my wife means by getting stuck with, is what I mean by expanding my collection. With my current collection I am hoping to create not only pastels, spiders, bumble bees, super pastels, albinos, albino spiders, piebalds, honey bees, orange ghost, pastel orange ghost, carmel albinos, pastel carmel albinos ect, ect, but sameday perhaps even a carmel glow. All of that represents considerable time and effort, plus a whole lot of holdback, just don't tell my wife that. And hell that doesn't include future plans. Man she gonna be pisssssed
