No apologies necessary. If you'll notice, I said I'm using a radiant heater, not a forced air heater. I used the forced air method years ago when I first set up my snake room and everyone in any type of enclosure had bad sheds. I switched to those fake electric "radiant heaters" (the kind you usually see against a wall in an old house), and I rarely have bad sheds with it. This was just my experience with that rack though and conditions in each house vary tremendously. It's a nice rack to be sure, my snakes with their newspaper bedding and relatively larger water bowls just didn't want to shed properly in it. As a final aside, I do not regret buying the rack by any means.
