I would really suggest a smaller bulb or a differen't heating method. Boas can actually cook themselves. I speak from experience. If your boa eats, first thing it will want to do is bask in the heat and it will stay long enough to give it's self a heatstroke. I lost a really nice super salmon female in a very close situation as yours. Thanks Daniel.
