i have a 1.1 pair of adult columbians. a month ago, i tried to feed both of them and they both refused. two weeks ago i tried again, same results. today i tried one last time before seeking help and my male took his rat with vigor, my female struck at it, struck two more times, then opened her mouth and started hissing like crazy. she smelled the rat, but took it as a threat i guess and wanted nothing to do with it. she's got a bad temperment to start off with but she's never done anything like that. its been over a month since she's eaten now. she seems to be in good health and her enclosure is clean and has clean water, its been cold because its winter but they have heating pads on and have been using them on and off. i hope she's just not hungry. should i bring her in for a vet check, or wait a little longer?
any hlp apreciated
