could this not be a bloodred stripe? It has a bit of difussing in the sides, and is real red in color. A normal stripe would be more brown.
Either way, you got some REALLY nice looking snakes. I wonder why someone would pay so much for snakes (bloodreds are not cheap) and then treat them so badly.
