Well, I tried to get to the mall as early in the day as I could and I actually went to one that isn't the closest, but I knew the parking "secrets" during the holidays (ie: at this particular mall, go to the top of the parking garage and go in through Penny's or Macy's....I ended up just a few feet from Macy's door!).

Hopefully, I don't think I'll have to go to a mall anymore, just to Target and Walmart for a few things.

I am now sweating out my herps Christmas dinner!

I guess the storm in Denver is screwing up all the shipping companies.

I ordered my crickets, waxworms and mealworms from a very good company in the state next door and down one...next door to your state, and I got notification that it had shipped via fedex for overnight priority delivery. I come home from shopping late yesterday afternoon and no bugs!

I check the tracking and there is nothing on the tracking other than the box was picked up thursday afternoon. So I get on the phone with fedex (hint for future reference...don't go through all the menu options when something hasn't arrived...just say "claims" and you'll get a human on the phone in no time.)

Anyway, I finally find out that while the tracking said it had been picked up, it really hadn't been picked up and they had actually just picked it up and it would be out for Saturday delivery.

So, I check tracking just a little while ago and it shows that my package of live bugs is just sitting at the sort facility at the airport, and its 12:00 pm, which tells me that they aren't even planning to deliver my bugs until Tuesday.

Now, I have some sort of customer relations liason trying to track down my package and get it to a local station so I can pick it up there, which means I can't go anywhere until I hear from them....aughhh!

I think it must be a result of the Denver airport having been shut down for so long.

I buy and sell on ebay, and I have several packages that I paid for well over a week ago and they still aren't there, and the same goes for stuff I've shipped.
