We "might" have an overabundance of animals.... But we tend to take in sick and wayward creatures - Good thing my house isn't bigger or I would be in trouble!
I think it's great that Stumpy survived! I also think it's great that I am not alone in naming my plants!!! Haha, my boyfriend thought I was nuts... But Valdez was with me back when I had no pets (hard to imagine now!) so it was kind of my little charge. I think I've had this little plant for about 7 years now - when I first got "him" he was this little droopy weed that I nursed back to health. I was told he would turn into a tree, but he is still very small - Still waiting on those coffee beans to start growing!
>>Oh Lilypad ROFL!!
>>I asked for it glad I got it.
>>This cracks me UP you have a coffee plant you named Valdez.
>>hee heeeeeee I LOVE IT!
>>Lotsa dogs too, lotsa pets but don't we all?

>>I didn't mention we have a mulberry tree named Stumpy- I didn't know if anyone else ever named plants LOL!!
>> Stumpy was basically a dead stick when we moved here so DH cut it all down. That was in 1992, Stumpy came back & got a name because we couldn't believe this thing was growing back after being cut down to the ground. Stumpy is now the largest tree on our property and Stumpy produces mulberries for the box turtles to eat most years.. depending on the weather.
