It could be that most buyers don't get their cbb chams checked for parasites at such a young age and that it's more common than we all realize. Chams are eating and growing fast until they are about a year old, so maybe any hookworms present grow fast also. Maybe the breeder had a population of feeder insects that were really infested. It wouldn't be obvious unless he routinely checked all his stock for the adult forms of parasites. At least you did the check and can treat it. [ Hide Replies ]
