Where as you certainly have good points - there is one particular item that you have either overlooked and/or chosen to ignore. There are certain rules to the industry - anyone has every right to slap a "morph" name and price tag on their animal (many people do) - but in order to be taken seriously it needs to be proven out and proven out over several generations.
Just because your snake will produce a freckle on 1/2 its offsprings butts or produces a lighter shade of yellow - doesn't necessarily mean that its worthy of a "name" and $20K plus price tag.
Personally I think Daves got something there - I hope there is a super - if not who knows - it may run in the same price range as a pastel instead of a fire.
Just something else to think about.
I miss the days were projects were kept under wraps!
