Temperatures.

Some one unplugged one of my heat pads, and since i've plugged it back in, the temperature hasn't gone above 74degrees. Is a 150watt ceramic heat emitter too much to place directly on the cage top, or is it just not as cold for the little guys as it seems to be for me. The other cage's temps are about 80degrees.
