I agree, it sure is a lot better than no regulations whatsoever, and I feel its also a lot better than New York's blanket ban, which completely outlaws many of the large constrictors and large Varanids, as well as all crocodilians and venomous reptiles.
I am a big advocate of restrictions of dangerous captive animals, but not of complete blanket bans, that's excessive.
Yey for what appear to be some excellent regulations.
