Thanks for the post, we do not ask for it but it is nice to hear. We go willfully, we go with honor to our country and what it stands for. Some go for education, some for a job, but after the first few days of basic training we realize it is so much more. I was told by my drill instructor on the day of graduation that from that point on we were all brothers. On this Christmas night my heart is with all of them and even more so with their families....We know what we were getting into, they do not. To stand by and take care of all of lifes details while wondering if you will ever see your loved one again takes a heart that the toughest grunt will never know. I have been out for quite a while but as a vet, I can tell you that it is nice to know that someone is thinking about you. And if you get the chance....give a hand to that family down the street who's waiting for that next e-mail or letter. For they are warriors too.
