yes, he got my thumb through a burlap bag i was putting him in while we were moving. lucky for me he let go(i guess because he couldn't see what he was chomping on) anyway it split my thumb tail and dowm to the bone but i think the bag cushioned his bite a little. you cant be too carefull with these turtles or you pay the price.
