The 4 month old snake that survived a week-long trip to limbo (courtesy of UPS) hasn't shown any signs of respiratory problems (no symptoms that resembles what I have read about anyway).

I've been thinking about a name for her. There is a knife that is used by the Nepalese army and has been used for centuries. It is typically very small, but incredibly deadly. Its design is very simple and the knife manages to serve its purpose whereas more complicated knives have failed or lacked in efficiency. The older versions of the knife were highly decorated and very highly prized. It's a very nice piece comprised of simplistic design and high efficiency, both of which contribute to its beauty. The knife if called the Khukuri kukri.

(I collect weapons for appreciation of their design and beauty, not for any actual use. In the case of rifles and such, I do shoot on a regular basis for practice and hunting purposes.)

Khukuri would make for a very pretty name that could capture the beauty of the snake's intricate pattern and her "let's keep to the mission" attitude that she has (and most snakes I have seen). Plus, nicknames could easily be made as time progresses. It's not easy finding a name for an animal that can live for 20 years or more.
