I am not an advocate of either side of a purity debate, but I do think you should enjoy what you work with and properly/openly provide any information regarding offspring that you do produce. With that said, I have wondered the same myself regarding the Anery gene in BCI.

Hi-red albinos more than likely have some Surinam/Guyanan blood in them (not accusing anyone of anything, just a possibility due to their high pinks and really redtails). Hypos more than likely came from the B.c.sabogae lineage (again, not accusing anyone of anything, just another "visual" possibility). Sunset boas are a BCO x BCI, and most breeders interested in designer snakes seem to like the outcome of that crossing.

If your going to make a cross of 2 different subspecies(your choice), then why not try to make something that looks better than either parent; as in, not just to cross them for the sake of crossing, but to refine a certain look or trait. I would think that a silverback B.c.amarali would be a very good direction to take the BCI Anery gene; but I neither own a BCI, nor a BCA.

Again, this is all your choice...designer or locale...just be honest about what you produce.
