I realize there aren't too many people breeding these as compared to that vast amounts of genetic crosses, mutations, and all the crazy color morphs out there with boas but.......I wondered how many are working with these?

I know Barry Miller has some of the best I've ever seen and I hope to start off with a pair of his at some point.

Any others on this forum have some? What do you like/dislike about keeping them in your collection?

It's been over 10 years since I've had any snakes and I'm hoping to start off slow with a nice pair of Bolivians. They have been a fav of mine since I was a kid. In the early to mid 90's I worked with Burms (of course), carpets, common boas, brazilian rainbows, bloods, green trees, and a various colubrids...so I'm not really a newbie and I realize the Amarili are not "newbie" snakes for the most part. I'm not looking to build a colony of them but I think a pair or 1.2 would be fun to have and in a few years produce some babies.....just for fun....not as an investment etc.

So, any input/thoughts on these beauties?
