Hey, sorry. I haven't been around much, having a heck of a bummer month. Any how, I hope this answers your question....
Perhaps "Crimson" animals being less red than "Hypo Miami" animals don't make sense to you, however keep in mind, I didn't pick the names of the lines. Don's line definately has a unique look, and Rich's line has a unique look. If I get animals that look like Rich's, I call them Crimsons. If I get animals that look like Don's line, I call them Hypo Miamis.
To me a Hypo Miami looks like a great Miami with reduced black. All the wonderful Miami charactoristics that I love are still there with just reduced melanin.
On the other hand, IMO Crimsons look like a middle ground cross between a Miami animal and a really nice Hypo. Different enough from a regular Hypo to be worthy of a line name, but also definately have a long way to go as far as looking like good Miamis with reduced melanin. Again, JMHO.
