To me its the same as before.....nothing is changing really except that the reptiles of concern need put tags or photos taken for IDS. How hard is a good id photo to have?
I for one have photos of all my snakes as it is.....The new regs were developed with help from several well known breeders/dealers as an alternative to an outright ban.
I think this is one example on how herpers succesfully worked with the governmnt concerning regulations.

FWC is PRO-Keeping animals........as long as in right conditions(husbandry, etc), safe manners, and they even ASKED herpers first what WE think should be done so that everyone is happy.

The only animal I disagree on is the tegu...but they could generate lots of problems with nesting birds out in the glades. Plus they are tropical carnivores.

Any opinions or thoughts?
