Make a humidity bin that the snake can't get out of, with some ventilation holes and some moist sphagnum moss in it. Put the snake in the bin, and put the whole bin in their cage, and leave them in there for a few hours, twice a day until it comes off on it's own in a few days. You can also do enforced soaking the same way as with water instead of moist moss. Use a small amount of water, don't make them swim. These are the safest ways. Whatever you do, don't try to pull it off or rub it off hard, snakes are delicate.
