The measurement was accurate, but the snake had been mis-identified. It turns out that it was actually an anaconda, but this was not revealed until the record had already been accepted by many. The largest boa constrictors currently on record are a few specimens that taped between 14 and 15 feet from the area around southern Colombia and northern Peru. | ||
