For the meantime though just get the largest aquarium you can afford. I have had several snappers ranging from sizes from 1-8 inches. I kept my largest in a 50gal rubbermaid container. I gave my little brother a common that I have had since it was a hatchling and its about 6in right now and its in a 40L. Hes doing great and is growing like a weed. Soon will need something bigger. Filtration wise... Get the best filter you can afford also. Snappers are dirty guys. I am using a Magnum 250 on the 40L right now and its doing a great job. | ||
