I would think the rubbermaids would last pretty much forever. I wouldnt think a UVB bulb would kill it. Maybe actual sunlight, but not a bulb. I honestly never used UVB with my snappers anyway. Not saying not to use it, but I have raised a few and they all were healthy even without the UVB. No shell problems or anything... But hey it can never hurt.

Currently in the US Navy so I have sold off my collection. But over the years I have had dozens of turtles, fish, geckos, and other lizards. Cant wait to get back in the hobby once im out though!
