That would no longer apply as it has been proven that some can be bred together with success. Most people with them don't even know what they have so to find two alike is not that easily done either. Unless you have a more commonly seen local.



When the marmo was bred to a sumatran the outcome was a very nice looking contrast between the two. In which some of the offspring I have seen have gotten big but most are on the smaller end. I have a pair of these crosses myself one of which is a small 3-4 foot female that looks more sumatran, the male looks more marmo but is 5-6foot.



Until breeding of the others together happens we really can't say for sure what the outcome will be. But we do know what happend in this case.
