His temperament problem is more than likely from lack of handling and not necessarily from lack of feeding. If he is in a large custom enclosure and never gets messed with, then even if he is fed a lot he still might be aggressive.

We have a number of males that are 3 - 4 years old and under or around 5 lbs. They are not starving, and are well muscled little breeding machines. They are not aggressive at all, because we handle them often.

I am not saying that your brother couldn't be taking better care of his snake, because he probably could be, just that its aggression MIGHT not be because it is hungry. Then again... maybe it is.
