He is not in horrible condition, but he could fatten up. I am afraid you are probably right as far as temperment goes. We had a mexican kingsnake who would stike at you constantly as an adult, and if he hit you he would chew at your hands...there was no amount of food that would change that I guess we'll have to wait and see!
