it's not a dumb question and not the first time someone has asked. As was pointed out their lungs are MUCH smaller than ours and they are getting 2nd hand smoke. I would strongly suggest either not smoking in your room, buying some sort of heavy duty air filter, open windows as much as possible, move your animals to a healthier part of the house - of course the best solution would be to quit. Not judging you (I smoked for over 20 years) but I would certainly make some sort of adjustments for your animals. You may have to bring your cham to the vet one day b/c he has a respiratory problem that just won't clear up - lung cancer in your little cham buddy?
