Ok here here is the story...

I bought an eight foot female boa off of some guy who told me it was a proven breeder so I trusted him and never probed it. Well I started to breed her with two 4 ft. males and she's workin the heck out of them. She rides them around and rubs her chin on them and pins their heads down until they shake her off. She also seems like shes the one who induces courtship. She will go up to a resting male and poke around by him until he becomes active and then start the whole riding him around process. She also has huge spurs. I never put much thought into it and I trusted the guy I got her from but tonight was the final straw. I was in the snake room and waching these particular animals and there was some heavy courting going on when I noticed that this big "female" was riding all over these little guys and was spurring not only them but herself also! I got angry and pulled her out of the cage thinking what the heck am I gonna do with an eight foot male. I only have one girl big enough for him and shes already being bred and they wouldnt make a pair anyways. So I called my girlfriend in the room and had her help me hold it while I probed it and sure as heck its a girl.I probed her twice just to make sure. I know there is "hot" females in other reptile species but what about boas? Has anyone else ever experiencd this? Thanks Rich
