However for when to start breeding, that I can answer now. Females should be approaching their third winter and at least 1500g before breeding. Males can be a bit smaller/younger though should be 1000g or more to ensure full sexual maturity. One good site I have found that talks about the whens, hows etc of breeding, is shown below: Buying the Ball Python Manual is also a good ideal, it has lots of basic information and guides from breeding, caring and dealing with stubern eaters as well as recognizing the common ailments of ball pythons. | ||
