(with all required cage accessories) I was hoping for some fish as a ‘clean-up’ crew so I threw in a dozen feeder guppies. They have done perfectly fine. If one gets sick or ‘slow’ the newts clean them up fast enough, yet being guppies they always have some young swimming around ready to breed. So if you are looking for a simple and effective solution to your fish question, I’d say guppies. Note however, that I’d stray from the fancy fan-tailed designer breeds, they won’t be quick enough to avoid a hungry JFBN. | ||
